As a survival mechanism, the brain sensing that we are stressed will switch us into the fight or flight mechanism.  See blog post entitled “are you living in the fight or flight system?”  Practice 4-7-8 breathing (take in a slow breath to a count of four, hold breath for 7 counts and exhale for 8 counts). Repeat as often as you need.  You will feel calm and switch into the relaxation healing system.
