QUINOA
Quinoa is a super-star high-protein food considered a whole grain (actually a nutty seed) and yet it is also a plant protein containing all 9 essential amino acids.
It is high in calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, potassium, copper and manganese. It also contains vitamins B6 and E, as well as high levels of iron and zinc, minerals necessary for a healthy immune system.
